Motion on Fuel Hike in Parliament

Parliament is debating the motion proposed by the Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs on the recent fuel price hike. The motion is to seek support from Members of Parliament on the recent move the by the government to increase the prices of petrol by 40% and diesel by 62%.

Needless to say, all Opposition MPs will vote against this motion at the end of the debate which will take place later in the evening. It will be interesting to see whether there will be any BN MPs will vote against the motion especially the 2 MPs from SAPP. However, both the MPs from SAPP is currenntly "missing in action".
