The first in the world!

Malaysia set another world record today. It must be the first time in the world that a state legislative meeting were held under the shade of a tree! Well, that's precisely what happened in Ipoh this morning. Another example of Malaysia Boleh!

A legitimate Speaker of the Perak State Legislative Assembly, YB Sivakumar and other State Assemblymen have been denied entry to the Assembly building. And the worse is, the Clerk of the Assembly tried to unsurp his power by declaring the emergency meeting convened by the Speaker as invalid. For more info and news, go to www.themalaysianinsider.com

The shameful event in Perak today will go down in history in the Commonwealth Parliament and give another "black eye" to our democracy!

Section 124 of the Penal Code reads as follows:

"Whoever, with the intention of inducing or compelling or attempting to induce or compel a member of Parliament or of any legislative assembly or of any state executive council to exercise or refrain from exercising in any manner the lawful powers of such member, assaults or wrongfully restrains, or attempts wrongfully to restrain, or overawes by means of criminal force, or the show of criminal force, or attempts so to overawe, such member shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to a fine."

This means that the Clerk, the Police chief etc are liable to be charge under this section. Dear Pakatan MPs, throw the books at them.
